Dr. Christopher Shewan is a board-certified optometrist proudly serving patients throughout California. Specializing in comprehensive eye examinations, advanced contact lens fittings, and ocular disease management, she combines state-of-the-art diagnostics with a patient-centered approach to optimize vision and overall eye health. Dr. Christopher Shewan earned their Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Davis.
Following graduation, they finished an advanced residency in Vision Therapy & Rehabilitation at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. Dr. Shewan is skilled in managing a wide array of conditionsâfrom myopia control and dry eye treatment to diabetic eye disease and pediatric vision therapy. They stays at the forefront of optometric care by attending regular continuing-education seminars on the latest surgical co-management protocols and diagnostic technologies. Dr. Shewan prides themself on educating patients about preventive strategies and empowering them to maintain healthy vision for life.
