Dr. Christopher Shewan, your Lexington Optometrist
Personalized care for a healthier, pain-free life
Dr. Shewan is originally from Niagara Falls, NY. He completed an AAS degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing at Erie Community College in 1988. He then finished his undergraduate work at the State University College at Buffalo before moving to Columbus, Ohio to attend the Ohio State College of Optometry, graduating in 1995.
Dr. Shewan has practiced with Ohio State Optical and Sears Optical before purchasing the practice of Dr. Bruce Bachelder in June of 2018. He is passionate about his work and loves solving problems. Even the most challenging cases are simply a puzzle to find the individualized solution to.
Dr. Shewan and his wife Barb have three children, two of them are adopted. He enjoys spending time with family, fishing, shooting, and working around the house. Dr. Shewan is currently serving on the boards of the Lexington Church of Christ and the Mansfield Christian School.
